Membership in HTNG affords you or your company the opportunity to define, develop, and implement the next generation of hospitality technology.

To join HTNG, provide the details below, including your company's web site.  HTNG will validate the membership class for your organization based on the information available at your company web site, and supply an electronic invoice via email. Payment options include online credit card, check, and (for invoices to non-US addresses over US$1,000) wire transfer.

Is Your Company Already a Corporate Member?  If yes, and if you're trying to get access to our members' website or register for a meeting or event, please use the Corporate Member Enrollment form instead.  Not sure if your company is a corporate member?  Check here.  If your company is listed as an individual member, then you will need to join HTNG using the form below.

Joining a Workgroup:  Signing up for HTNG membership does not automatically entitle you to attend workgroup meetings.  Membership in HTNG is a prerequisite for participating in workgroups, but you must formally apply to a workgroup and be accepted, or have an invitation to attend as a guest.  Please see our workgroup FAQs for more information.

Platinum Memberships:  Platinum membership entitles your company to priority and preferred pricing for sponsorships, exhibit, and meeting registration at HTNG events.  Platinum members are highlighted on our website and in promotional materials.  To upgrade an existing membership to Platinum, click here.

Basic HTNG Membership Level:

Options for hospitality companies only (hotels, casinos, cruise lines, restaurants, etc.):

Corporate Hospitality Membership - Entire Hospitality Company - $3,500 and includes all forum/workgroup fees.

Corporate Hospitality Membership - 5 Individuals at Hospitality Company - $1,750 and includes all forum/workgroup fees.

Individual Regular - Hospitality Employee - $325 and includes all forum/workgroup fees.

Options for technology providers, distribution service providers, and consultants

Platinum Industry Partner - Entire company - $6,750 for all companies and includes all forum/workgroup fees.

Corporate Industry Partner - Entire company - $3,500 and includes all forum/workgroup fees for ONE forum; second forum available for additional $750.

Individual Industry Partner (available ONLY to independent consultants and employees of very small consulting companies -  see important limitations and eligibility) - $325 and includes all forum/workgroup fees.

Benefactor Member - $50,000 - Entire company - includes all forum/workgroup fees; 50% discount on sponsorships & exhibits. Contact our Membership Department for details.

Options for others (academics, students, press, governmental entities, etc.)

Individual Allied - Academic, Governmental, or Other - $50
    May require documentation of eligibility

Individual Allied - Student - $15
Graduation Month/Year:
Available only to enrolled, full-time students in accredited hospitality or technology programs.  You must use your official school e-mail address, and we may require documentation of eligibility.

Available only to trade media writers, and subject to approval of HTNG - Please send a message to our membership department with a description of your publication and/or company.

Forum Membership  

Based upon the forum eligibility that comes with your HTNG membership, please indicate the forum in which your company would like to participate (To review the forum structure in greater detail, visit our workgroup page):

Infrastructure & Device Forum (For those whose principal interests are hardware devices and network infrastructure)

Software Forum (For those whose principal interests are hospitality software-related)

  • Memberships dues and assessments are nonrefundable unless stated otherwise, and individual memberships are non-transferable.

  • Membership provides the benefits listed below, but does not guarantee the ability to participate in any particular workgroup.

Next Steps:

  • Your membership type will be validated.
  • An invoice will be sent via e-mail, normally within two business days of form submission.

Membership Types:  HTNG's by-laws define these classes of membership: 
  • Hospitality Members:  Organizations that actively provide hospitality services to end consumers as a primary business, or individuals currently employed by such organizations.  Only Hospitality Members are eligible to run for officer and director positions in HTNG.  Membership options for hospitality are per individual, for up to 5 members at one company, or for an entire company.  
  • Industry Partner Members: 
    • Corporate:  organizations that provide technology and/or distribution-related products and/or services to the hospitality industry.  Membership applies to the entire organization.  Platinum and Benefactor memberships are also available.
    • Individual:  available to individuals employed by consulting companies (and to self-employed consultants) who do not produce, distribute, or represent technology products or technology-based services, and whose companies have a maximum of four employees.
  • Allied Members:  Individuals whose interest in the industry is fundamentally informational rather than economic, including specifically but not limited to students, academics, media representatives, and representatives of trade organizations; but specifically excluding individuals who qualify for other membership categories.

 Hospitality Members

Hotels, casinos, cruise lines, restaurants, and other hospitality companies, and individuals who work for them.  Individual members must be full-time employees of hospitality companies.


 Industry Partners

Provide information technology products or services to hospitality and related industries. Membership is for the whole company.

Consultants may also apply for an individual Industry Partner membership.  While anyone can apply as a consultant, this type of membership does not permit you to participate as a vendor in workgroups or marketing activities. 

 

 Allied Members

Individual membership aimed at professors, students, media, and tourism organizations.


 Qualifications

HTNG will judge the appropriate membership class based on application information and public data, especially Web site information.
