In March of 2011, the hotelier members of HTNG voted for these solutions over a total of 17 entries to select them as the Most Innovative Hospitality Technologies for 2010.

Intelity - ICE Touch on iPads
Intelity is a hospitality software solution company focused on the self-service marketplace. Following Apple's iPad introduction, Intelity developed a guest interface for it. First deployed in September 2010 at New York's Royalton Hotel, it's now at the Plaza, Mondrian and Philadelphia's Hilton Inn at Penn. ICE (Interactive Customer Experience™) Touch on iPads presents hotel guests with the full array of thirty hotel services - such as in-room dining, turn downs, wake-ups, housekeeping and transportation requests and more. Each guestroom has an iPad. ICE Touch on iPads is designed to raise the level of quality guest service and to streamline hotel efficiency.

Personalizing the guest experience is what makes a hotel standout. Today, that means enabling guests high quality access to their mobile content and services such as streaming video and gaming. MobileAccessVE architecture enhances hotels' cellular coverage by leveraging existing LAN cabling for cellular signal distribution while maintaining full Ethernet and wireless LAN capabilities. MobileAccessVE allows hotels to address 2G/3G as well as 4G services. Now hotels have a cost effective, quickly deployable, non-disruptive path to migrate to premium LTE service, with smart MIMO antenna technology, and the ability to support migration to enterprise femtocell solutions as guest bandwidth demands increase.

The Allegro Online-Mobile-Kiosk Check-in/out Solution represents a breakthrough in self-service technology that has the potential to revolutionize the hotel industry, allowing guests to check in/out, pay, and manage their stay from any web-enabled device, including cell phone, PC, laptop, PDA, iPad or the lobby kiosk. Leveraging the power of a fully-featured "cloud-based" platform, Allegro automatically detects the device used during check-in and sends notifications and instructions to the guest via "push mode." Through integration with OpenWays mobile key technology, it is now possible to bypass the traditional "front desk" completely, using a mobile phone as a securely encrypted room key.
