Regional Conferences- Conferences are held annually in each major world region, and draw 100-350 attendees
- Top buyers attend, as well as global and regional leaders from the vendor and consulting communities
- Expert speakers from both inside and outside the hotel industry provide deep insight on the most important technology issues and trends
- Informational sessions help you use HTNG standards to improve your business
- Intimate and low-pressure exhibit area facilitates outstanding networking
- Attendance, sponsorship, and exhibition rights are limited to HTNG members, and to non-members who are senior hotel IT executives
- Hotelier-only roundtables are offered in conjunction with some conferences
- No industry event anywhere draws more senior buying power into a single room!
- Forum meetings feature active dialog among participants, and sharing of information among industry experts
- Typically 1-2 days in length, and include time for face-to-face workgroup breakout meetings
- Attendees inlcude senior hotel technologists in need of solutions, and senior vendor executives and other technical experts capable of working together to deliver them
- All HTNG members can attend the meetings of the forum(s) to which they belong, in most cases at no additional charge
- Infrastructure and Device Forum meets 3x/year in North America, 2x/year in Europe, typical attendance 30-60
- Software Forum meets 2x/year in North America, typical attendance 20-30
- Provide outstanding networking opportunities, with minimal vendor commercialism
- Some forum meetings are co-located with Regional Conferences, on adjacent days
- Most workgroup meetings are conducted by webconference, but many schedule periodic face-to-face meetings
- Workgroups typically meet every one to two weeks while actively producing new solutions, less frequently for maintenance thereafter
- Attendance varies from 3-4 up to 30 depending on the workgroup
- Face-to-face meetings are typically co-scheduled during forum meetings for time efficiency; provides time for intensive group work on workgroup deliverables
- The HTNG Board of Directors meets about 4x per year face-to-face, and about four times via teleconference
- The most critical industry issues are addressed in these meetings, and action plans formulated
- Board consists entirely of senior IT executives from the hotel community
- Executive Advisors can attend but not vote; these include other hotel IT executives, consultants, and academics, but not vendors
- Senior hotel IT executives interested in serving on HTNG’s board may contact us.
- Scheduled in conjunction with face-to-face board of directors meetings
- Available only to vendors at the Benefactor membership level
- Annual three-hour dedicated meeting for each vendor, alone with HTNG board members and other top industry leaders
- Intended to foster constructive dialog between leading buyers as a group, and key industry technology providers
